Question: Goals Remembering that you will have weekly exams On - Line, AND CANVAS ASSIGNMENTS will be given, to expand your understanding of Human Biology.

Goals
Remembering that you will have "weekly" exams "On-Line", AND CANVAS ASSIGNMENTS will be given, to expand your understanding of Human Biology. It is to your advantage to have read through BOTH Chapters 1 and 2 before attempting this assignment.
ASSIGNMENT #1 is to include a very well thought out Scientific Procedure (Experiment). It is to be descriptive, but extremely focused, and well written.
1. You are to include a realistic HYPOTHESIS.
2. You are to include METHODS and MATERIALS on what is to be included in your experiment.
3. You are to include the type of DATA that you will be seeking.
4. You are to include the potential RESULTS of your procedures.
5. You are to include your CONCLUSION(S) and what you would DISCUSS.
You are to describe how you would carry out a very REALISTIC EXPERIMENT. It is your choice however, real scientific endeavors are NOT SURVEYS conducted on the internet, or for that matter, surveys conducted just about anywhere....Therefore, implying the use of survey forms, questionnaires, etc. will NOT even begin to garner points for this assignment.
You should have it so well thought out and polished (ready for submission), that it should NOT BE LONGER OR MUCH LONGER, literally, than the 5 sentences that were used in the instructions. The best way to respond, is to list the requested responses, the way that they were asked, on a LIST, or BULLET format. REMEMBER, THIS ASSIGNMENT IS TO REALISTICALLY BE A REFLECTION OF WHAT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENT WOULD HAVE THE CAPACITY OF DOING ON THEIR OWN TIME.
BE IMAGINATIVE, BUT PRACTICAL. You do not need to carry out the experiment!
Take your time and be very methodical. Good Luck!!
Here is an example of a very simplistic procedure....(YOU MAY NOT COPY THIS ONE!!!)
HYPOTHESIS: More students used the parking structure at Fullerton College during morning hours than during evening hours.
METHODS and MATERIALS: Count the number of arriving students in vehicles at parking structure in the morning hours and again in the evening hours.
DATA: The total number of people arriving at parking structure at each time indicated.
RESULTS: Tally the number of people and confirm the larger arriving population.
CONCLUSION: State your conclusion and possible discussion regarding its validity.
This is a very simplistic example however, I will expect a more thought-filled response from you.
