Going through a needs analysis helps identify what needs to be gained through the training. Trainers can have good intentions to train effectively, but if they don't plan what to teach, that training will be worth little. Answer the following questions:

1. Describe a poor experience being trained in a role, either your current work, past work, paid position or other activity.
2. What are three aspects of training that influences its effectiveness;
3. If you had a chance to change the three aspects you mentioned, how would you make them more effective?
4. From your experience being trained by others, what do you think are the top three traits necessary to train others successfully?
