Good Day Dr. Tillman and Class, Remote work has its complications. I originally started working remotely 13 years ago when it was something that was not the norm. It was a major adjustment. The company that I worked for had a revolving door. Many people would come and leave due to appropriate management coupled with their inability to create work/ life balance. Coworker relationships started to dissolve as we were all disbanded to working from our home, while the company found ways to maximize profitability through the use of virtual offices. To assist with maintaining coworker relationships, we swapped phone numbers and social media information. From time to time, we would attend meet ups and do group recreational activities. While at work, we would email each other to assist with problem resolution. Creating a group chat at work in Teams also assisted up with keeping in contact on a regular basis. Even after some of us left the company, we maintain contact with one another. We went from coworkers to being friends. Can you respond to this class discussion
