Please explain to me the mathematical method of solving this entire exercise. Both components! 1. A mass atom m moving in the direction +x rapidly v suffers an elastic collision with an atom of mass 3m. After the collision the first atom moves in the direction +y. Find the speed of both atoms (in terms of v) after the collision. Solve the problem from the frame of reference of each particle and use Galilean transformations to verify that your results are consistent.
