Good morning,
I need help to do this project. I handed in a rough draft and it got denied and I need help figuring out what I can do for this project.
I need help writing a proposal and doing calculations for this.
Please see attached photo.
- If you listen to music, then you will scorebetter on your tests. (Use a survey tocompare number of average hours a day listening to music and average mark in acourse.)
This is what I need help with
Part 1: Topic proposal
Select a topic of interest and write a paragraph that describes why you chose this topic.
Your paragraph should include a main topicquestion and/or hypothesis. A hypothesis
is a statement regarding a relationship. It is usually in the form of an if/then statement. For example, "If I eat a lot of apples then I will be healthy." This implies that the more apples I eat the healthier I would become. It could be something you would like to prove as true or a broad question you would like
to find the answer to. For example, the question is "Does the consumption of apples affect my health?"
Second part;
Using your research from part 1, you willcollect data to help you prove or disproveyour hypothesis. If you are using primary data, you will have to create and distribute your own survey. If you are using secondary data, remember to keep track of your sources if information. Of course, you can also use a combination of primary andsecondary sources.
Once you have collected your data, youare ready to start the analysis to see if your hypothesis is correct.
Components:
Your data collection and calculations should include the following.
1. Data in table form (4 marks)
2. Graphs (12 marks)
- first graph with one variable data (4 marks)
- second graph with one variable data(4 marks)
- third graph with two variable datawith regression line (4 marks)
- 3. Calculations (34)

mean, median, mode, standarddeviation and interquartile range foreach of the variables (24 marks)
linear regression for the twovariables (8 marks)
correlation (2 marks)
