Step $1$: Use SUMIF to create a total for for each category in F$2-$ F$6$

Step $2$: In G$2,$ use a combination of SUM, SMALL and IF to find the lowest exam grade

Step $3$: In G$3,$ use a similar formula from step $2$ to find the sum of the lowest $3$ in class quizz grades

Step $4$: In H$2-$ H$6,$ use COUNTIF to find the count of each grade for the corresponding category

Step $5$: Fill in the total column by subtracting the adjustment amount from the sum of grades

Step $6$: Fill in the Final Count column by subtracting the count adjustment from the count

Step $7$: Calcluate the average for all rows other than Excel stagegate by dividing the total by the count

Step $8$: Use MAXIFS to find the higher of the two stagegate scores and populate L$7$
