Groundwater Flow Lab Purpose This lab is designed to give students an understanding of how groundwater flows within an aquifer and to distinguish between groundwater depth and groundwater elevation. The student will use a 3-point problem to determine the direction of groundwater flow and calculate the water table gradient of within that area. The student will use the following skills: 1) solving mathematical word problems, 2) use mathematical equations to calculate elevation and gradient, 3) map reading to determine direction flow direction
