Group Assignment $$ Hiring Manager$$ Guide to Interviewing $(20\%$ of course grade$)$

In assigned groups of four to five students, your group will be responsible for creating a Hiring Manager$$s Guide to the Interview Process.

Your guide will utilize both visual $($appealing format, pictures, photos, graphics, charts, etc.$)$ and written elements, be approximately $15$ pages, but no more than $20$ pages, and will at a minimum, cover the following topics:

A$.$ Preparing for The Interview

$-$ Reviewing the job description.

$-$ Developing questions in advance.

B$.$ During the Interview

$-$ Building Rapport with candidates

$-$ Sample interview questions $($both behavioural and situational$)$

$-$ Taking notes

$-$ Closing the interview

C$.$ After the Interview

$-$ Scoring the responses

$-$ Reference checks

$-$ Decision making process

$-$ Making a job offer

Your group$$s guide is due by the end of class time in week $12.$ Late reports will be deducted $25\%$ per day.

You will signify your agreement with the $$Team Charter$$ on Test #$1.$

A Peer Evaluation will be conducted in week $12.$ The Professor has the discretion to lower your individual grade dependent upon the results of the Peer Evaluations.
