GROUP ASSIGNMENT - HRP1003 - IMPLEMENTATION OF AN HRIS Evaluated as follow: 20% for the Report Submission Belle La Russo, Director of Human Resources for Karate Beast Inc., has decided an HRIS would be a very helpful tool in recruiting, onboarding, keeping track of training, compensation, and performance management. As an HRIS is a large cost to the company, it is important that it is fully implemented and accessible by all employees in 8 weeks or less. In this project you will implement the Humi Software for Karate Beast Inc. and you will provide your feedback on the process. Facts about Karate Beast Inc. The company employs 1000 Full-Time and 50 Part-Time members. o 200 of these employees are management and 850 are non-management. o The average hourly rate is $35 for non-management and $50 for management. It is non-unionized. Locations include Toronto, Winnipeg, Sudbury, and Ottawa O The head office is in Sudbury. Benefits include Medical, Dental, an annual Karate Beast membership and unlimited vacation. o The total cost of benefits average is 15% of direct compensation. O Part-Timers don't receive benefits. All mandatory training is outsourced and includes Health and Safety, AODA, EDI, meditation, and physical and spiritual wellness. o Training must be completed within two weeks of start date. Each employee receives a handbook which requires sign off within the first week of starting. Each employee will be assessed by their manager every quarter for the first year, based on anniversary start date. New employees will be under probation for 90 days. Your Tasks 1. You will help Belle LaRusso implement Humi by creating an implementation plan. Your implementation plan should include the following: a. Communication Strategy-identify key stakeholders and the message to each. b. Training Plan - Determine what key stakeholders need to know and how long it will take to train them. c. Testing Plan-Generate a report with the 10 employees you have been assigned (See Question 2) and input using the data above.
