Guidelines for submitting @RISK Simulation Model Files with Homework

The Excel file size jumps to $30$ Mb$+$ if you choose to save the simulation data. DO NOT DO

SO$!!$

Instead, you should submit the screenshot of your graphs and the grid after running the

simulation. How to do that?

Just right click on your @Risk Output and choose "Copy Graph and Grid" and paste this in the

same Excel workbook on different sheet or you can paste this data onto a different Word

document and turn in your Word document along with your simulation model or you can save it

as photo $($using Paint or similar software in MAC OS$)$ and turn those photos in$.$ Ensure proper

naming of files and data in it for the Grader to understand which answer corresponds to which

question.

There are two other settings you should do before submitting your assignment.

Go to @Risk Simulation Settings $($first icon from left below the Iterations and Simulation Tab in

@Risk$).$ Navigate to Sampling $-->$ Initial Seed and set that parameter to Fixed and click $"$Ok$".$

Go to Utilities tab in @Risk $($it is placed to the right of Help option in @Risk$).$ A Drop$-$down menu

will open and click on "Clear @Risk Data.. $"$

Save your Excel file $($make sure you DO NOT SAVE THE SIMULATION DATA, if you do so

repeat step $2)$ and turn it in on Canvas.

IN SUMMARY: SUBMIT YOUR MODEL FILE WITHOUT SAVING THE ADDITIONAL @RISK

DATA $($you can tell this by looking at the size of your @risk file$).$ THE GRAPHS YOU

GENERATE FROM YOUR SIMULATION CAN BE CUT AND PASTED AS DISCUSSED
