Gumby bought three lottery tickets at the store: Ticket A, Ticket B, and Ticket C.  With all three tickets in his wallet, he stopped at Burger King on the way home and when he took cash out to pay, Ticket A fell on the floor of the Burger King and Gumby did not notice. Gumby then stopped at Ren's house to watch the game. While there, Gumby took a $20 out of his wallet to repay money he borrowed from Ren and realized Ticket A was missing. Gumby commented to Ren that he must have dropped it a BK. Gumby then stated, "Well, I don't want these other two tickets!" and threw Ticket B and Ticket C in the trash.  After Gumby left, Ren drove to the Burger King and found Ticket A on the floor.

In this scenario, Ticket A is "lost" and Ticket B & Ticket C are abandoned.  Gumby is still the true owner of Ticket A.
