Question:
H0: u=2.6
H1: u<>2.6
Based on a sample of 65 people, the sample mean GPA was 2.55 with a standard deviation of 0.05
I entered the stats T-Test in my TI 83.
u0 = 2.6
xbar: 2.55
Sx: .05
n = 65
The test statistic is =-8.06 (I know this is correct)
P Value = 2.503916 E -11 (this is where I am erroring)
Do I need to take that value and place in normalcdf(-10^99, 2.50, 0,1) then multiply x 2 OR should I just take 2.50 (the answer is to be rounded 2 decimals)? I have tried both results and it was wrong. I also don't understand how to compute E -11 power.
