There are case studies in your textbook, Human Resource Management in a Hospitality Environment (Jerald Chesser - 2016/17). Generally, they are very short cases. At the end of each case, There are several questions at the end of each case to be answered.
You are assigned three (3) cases. Each is worth 80 points (8% of your total course grade). This is significant as the three cases add up to 240 points or 24% of your course grade. Thus, your Professor expects THOROUGHNESS. Below are the general specifications to be followed.
What is Meant by "Thoroughness?"
1. Written papers will be sufficient in length (double-spaced and 4 to 5 pages) to answer the questions - no weak, flippant, or superficial discussions will earn full credit.
2. You will write in a professional style - APA (American Psychological Association) is the "Style Manual" used in business. You have an example of an excellent paper using this style. Your papers MUST exactly follow this paper's headers, where they are placed in the paper, bold or Italics, etc. Exactness includes the cover page layout and all page numbers are in the upper right corner of each page.
3. In summary, you are graded on both content and writing format.
