The main problem of this study is what is the effect of the lecturer's perception on the practice of orientation
multidimensional leadership by the head of the academic department on the effectiveness of leadership
the head of the academic department in carrying out his role as well as the impact on commitment
lecturer work. Specifically, the objective of this study is to determine whether lecturers' perception of the effectiveness of the leadership of the head of the academic department in performing their role affects the relationship between leadership orientations multidimensional department head with lecturer commitment.
