Hello, can I get some feedback on the post below with one reference please? Thanks

Health Information Technology (HIT) is continuing to grow and the implementation of this by the number of providers is increasing. With the increase in HIT, most patients'health information is being recorded electronically (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018). Using electronic records is afaster way for patients to access their records but it does have challenges. One of the challenges is when there are multiple providers involved in patient care, but they own different systems and have different pieces of data (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018). When this happens, patients lack access to their recordswhich makes it more difficult when trying to receive proper care and treatment.

There are financial, technical, and administrative factors that impact the adoption of health information exchange technologies at the Regional Health Information Organization (RHO), Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN) /National Level Health Information Exchange (NHIN). Financial barriers that impacted the adoption of health information technologies at the RHO/ NHIN arethe cost of developing health information technology and the lack of incentives for sharing information with different providers (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018).These barriers have made it difficult for continuity of care to be provided. The technical factor is the lack of standards development and patient/ provider data matching (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018).Helping with these barriers will improve patient health care. The administrative factor is billing requirements and outdated guidelines for Evaluation and management codes (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018). Evaluation and management codes link payment to documentation that doesnot have anything to do with the patient.

Although there are some barriers to the adoption of health information technologies at the RHO/NHIN, there are plans to overcome these barriers as well. The plan to overcome these barriers is to upgrade the technical capabilities of health IT, increase transparency in data sharing, and make the improvement of health IT a priority (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018). The barriers are not easy to overcome, and it will take some dedication to improve the health of IT. Three recommendations forovercoming these barriers are establishing the technological for standardizing electronic health information, enhancing business models for secondary use of data, and reducing the amount and type of documentation that commercial payers require (The officer of National Coordinator for HIT, 2018). These recommendations will help with the challenges regarding financial, technical, and administrative factors that have impacted the adoption of health information technologies. If these recommendations are implemented, they can impact stakeholders in a positive way. It can do that by improving patient quality of care, and clinical workflow, reducing cost, improving communication, and reducing errors (Banks, 2020). barriers in health information technologies must be addressed to improve the system and overall provide a better healthcare experience for patients. New strategies and current methods will have to be used in addressing the barriers in health information technologies.
