For a market to exist you need a seller who is willing to sell something for a price or return. You also need a willing buyer who will pay a price for goods or services sold. Lastly, you need a format or place for business or sale to occur.

Over my career I have worked for many sellers as I have worked in the financial services industry selling financial products to consumers and businesses. I have also worked in retail sales for clothing stores and in fast food sales in my younger years.

I really enjoy my current role in business services sales and commercial lending. This market is for businesses looking for loan financing and the market is other lenders who offer the same or more competitive products. All our lending business is done online nowadays; however, we do have bank branches and a brick and motor presence for our business services division. This department offers business checking accounts, savings accounts, business loans, merchant services, payroll services, financial wellness programs, and SBA lending. This market is critical to the global economy as we support many small businesses in California.
