Hello Class,

Potential barriers that could be present with a change is people reverting back to old ways. Sometimes you do something for so long it is almost routine so a change can definitely be harder for some people. Ensuring that staff have the right tools to maintain the change and make sure to communicate things to the higher up employees can ensure that staff feel comfortable with talking about certain things with the changes and ask for help if needed. Staff need to feel supported and not rushed when a change happens and know that they have the proper resources available to them so that the changes are smooth. "However, not all employees in an organization react equally to ongoing changes in their workplace organization, some employees respond to these changes with enthusiasm and as opportunities for learning and growth, while others resist such changes and show increasing feelings of frustration, alienation, and sadness" (Cheraghi et al. 2023). This article explains it perfectly with how certain people react to change and having the right resources for them available to make sure that they do not feel left behind to figure it out on there own.
