Hello, could you please help with a response to this week 7 discussion posting?

Great post, Robert. I agree, Ford did not use quality control management nor risk control management. It is necessary to, no matter how complex the project, for the project management team to implement a quality control and risk plan in the beginning of a project to prevent risks and ensure project functionality upon execution. Ford did test the pinto during production but did not have a contingency plan after they realized the gas tank was left venerable on the left side of the car, project quality was not their main concern. All Ford wanted to do had their vehicle available to compete with Japanese automakers (Case study: Ford Pinto on YouTube - Bing video, 2014).
