Please read below and help me to add anything to look more professional for this application.
Personal Statement - ______________
My name is ___________. I am the beneficiary of the I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, seeking EB2-NIW immigrant classification as an individual of exceptional ability. I have a vast experience as an ENL Teacher with 9 years of international experience, and I intend to continue teaching ENL students here in United States.
I moved from Albania to New York 5 years ago where I taught English Language to Speakers of Other Languages for 9 years. I had the pleasure of working closely with students from kindergarten to 9th Grade. I worked with students with disabilities that were present in the classes I taught. My students came from diverse economic backgrounds. My skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and secondary education have helped me to address a variety of challenges that may arise in the classroom.
In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA), "American and English Studies", Master of Arts (MA), "English Teacher for High Schools", Master of Science (MS), "Intercultural Communication and Tourism". Currently I am pursuing Master of Science in "Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages K-12(TESOL) at Mercy University and in May 2024 I will be graduated and certified from the NY state.
Throughout my academic studies at Mercy I've demonstrated my capabilities in maintaining a GPA of 4.00 in all of my teaching courses at Mercy University. I have finished all my courses, state exams and workshops, fingerprint needed so this semester "Spring 2024". Currently I am doing my "Student Teaching Experience" in White Plains District January 24th - March 14th then in Harrison Middle School March 18th -May 14th. I am working with ENL students and students with disabilities that are ENL students as well in these Districts.
Over the last ten years, I have been exceptionally good at learning new things, solving challenging problems, and presenting my results in the Teaching English as Second Language community. I like teaching and I like helping students to succeed in their future by developing their critical thinking, so the position for an ENL teacher or professor suits my best to my interests and expertise.
I am interested to work in New York as an ENL teacher because of the exceptional experience teaching opportunity it represents with diverse school cultures. I am eager to work in this country where my passion for facilitating engaging instruction can make a meaningful impact.
