Situation:

You and your classmates have been asked to serve on the Planning Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) to represent University student interests and ensure a high turnout and high entertainment from your demographic throughout the season. Your team has been asked to brainstorm ideas that be contribute or dissuade University student engagement and help the committee understand how they interact.

Activities:

Create an affinity diagram that organizes your ideas for what University students are looking for in an interesting and successful HLSR season and Create an interrelationship diagram that shows the relationships between causes/themes for what University students want in a successful HLSR season and highlight the key driver(s) and key outcome(s) you identify regarding this problem. Be sure to label the number of ins/outs in your diagram.
