Hello, I need help solving this Lab simulation, It uses Conditional expression: Print negative or non-negative for if-else statements and I am very new at python on so I need help solving it. It is very difficult. It is very confusing since the there are multiple inputs and can only code one input in the simulation.

a conditional expression that evaluates to string "negative" if user_val is less than 0, and "non-negative" otherwise. Example output when user_val is -9 for the below sample program:
