Scenario:The Pentagon has been using AR to train soldiers in possible combat situations. Recently the chief of staff has received a proposal that would move AR into actual combat situations. while AR has the potential to help soldiers more quickly understand and respond to a situation, it also can have a heavy psychological toll on the user. The chief of staff is considering authorizing the use of AR in actual combat.

Dilemma: Is the chief of Staff ordering the use of AR in combat ethical.
