Hello,
I'm very new to coding in R and do not know what I am doing. I am trying to map some environmental variables in R studios version 4.0.3 but I cannot open this file. The file is GLODAPv2_Mapped_Climatology.tar.gz, so the folder is tar.gz file and the individual files are nc files.
My question is that I need to get this file into R studios and map it, but I do not know the code to do this. I have tried downloading this folder and when I open in R it shows no data for the specific environmental variables in the mapped climatology variables, I think it is because the file is too large. I want to extract and specifically map these 4 variables in the folder: GLODAPv2.OmegaAinsitu
GLODAPv2.OmegaCinsitu
GLODAPv2.talk
GLODAPv2.tco2
I have tried looking up and asking on another website but they weren't too much help, as they only provided places to look for code but It just did not work for me as I do not understand or know the code I really need
What I need help with is extracting the files into r and producing a map. As I have no clue how to do this or what code is needed I would really appreciate it if someone could figure this out for me and share the code I need to get the individual files I want into r and the code to map them out. This would be a great help for me as I'm getting really stressed over this and cannot find the data I need anywhere else.
Thank you!
I know this may take more than 2 hours to solve so please let me know if it will take longer to solve. I'll be happy whenever you reply (Hopefully less than a day if that is possible), I just need this solved.
Regards,
A very stressed student.
