Project 1: CIBC Fee Change to Personal Bank Accounts

You are the project manager on a large initiative to overhaul all Personal Bank Accounts. Included in the project is renaming the various Chequing Accounts, assigning new fees to the accounts, and determining what is included/excluded in the fee and what the per transaction fee will be for all transactions not covered by the flat fee.

The project team has agreed on the new accounts, the fee structure, and the names of the new accounts. The new accounts are planned to launch in 1 month and the operations and technology teams have started to make the necessary changes required to support the new accounts. Other important work is also well underway - The creative agency has started working on all collateral to support the launch such as the development of the branch posters, the notifications to be sent to existing customers, branch brochures, statement inserts, etc.

The VP of Marketing comes to see you and tells you she feels more customer research is required to help confirm the names that have been selected for the new accounts. She asks you to work with the Research group to get a telephone survey of the market within the next two weeks to get further customer feedback on the selected account names.
