Good afternoon Class,

Businesses use communication systems both internally and externally in their everyday business operations. Internally, companies use it as a method to communicate with co-workers and as a tool to stay connected (Types Of Business Communication Systems, 2019). Externally, businesses can exchange data anywhere in the world in a fast and efficient manner.

One of the current most successful companies that utilize communication and information systems to their advantage is McDonald's. McDonald's has implemented an automated communication system to place desired orders that instantaneously communicates the orders to management or individuals managing the system (Information and Communication Technology in Business. (n.d.)). Moving further into the 21st century communication systems are becoming more of a necessity for businesses and individuals.
