Hello, this is a homework from my ethics class, and i really need help!

The approach that I chose is called Egoism. and I need to answer this, but I do not know how.

You have been accepted into a very prestigious program for your Masters degree.There are only 20 people chosen for this program every year. There is a big test coming up in 1 week.It is not a "make or break" test, but your program is very competitive.On this particular day, one of the students in the program, whom you know but not well, approaches you and tells you he found the test and answers left on a xerox machine in the library.He asks you, "Do you want a copy of the answers?

What you also need to know is that this educational institution has a zero tolerance policy for cheating.If a student is caught cheating, he or she will be expelled from the program and the university, and forever be barred from reapplying.

So, what are the steps you would use to resolve this ethical dilemma?Apply them to come to an answer, and be prepared to explain your answer.
