Hello,

this will be my second attempt at this question as the first answer was not helpful or either I did not understand the answer.

I am working on a STAT assignment where we are given data on the variables of marital status, family size, income, housing costs, and food costs from a sample of 30 households. I am to decide what type of graph to use for each variable and the ONLY one I am not sure about is family size. I am not sure if I should use a bar graph vs. a histogram. This assignment is for planning only and no actual statistics will be done at this point. Later when I perform statistics I will be look at how as family size changes cost of living changes.

So again for the variable of family size would I use a bar chart or histogram and if you do not mind please explain why.

Thank you.
