Hello, Two common backup and recovery methods are Full Backup and Incremental Backup. Full backup creates a complete copy of all data at a certain point in time. This method ensures that all files are backed up together. The pros of this method are that it provides a complete recovery point, making recovery fast, and it makes sure to keep the integrity of data as all files are backed up together. The cons of this method are that it requires a lot of storage space and can be time-consuming (Vitanium, 2020). Incremental backup only saves changes made since the prior backup. The pros to this method are that is uses less space and is faster to perform. The cons of this method are that recovery can take more time because backups must be restored in sequence, and if one backup is damaged, it will affect the process as a whole (Vitanium, 2020). For personal use, I use Microsoft One Drive for cloud storage. I have backups scheduled regularly on my system and phone as well. References: Vitanium. (2020, October 9).
