The same goes for the negative feelings they had for co-workers. A managers responsibilities consist of evaluating, leading, motivating and training employees continuously. Therefore, it is unfair to evaluate an employee because of pervious behavioral aspects a manager doesn't like. In my opinion, the manager can provide feedback to the employee, if these behaviors repeat, that their "jokes" can be offensive to their current co-workers, and that these "jokes" are unprofessional within the workplace. It is unreasonable for any employee to feel targeted by another within the company, and it should be dealt with accordingly. Additionally, the manager can remind all employees of the dress code in order to have everyone on the same page. Since I was promoted from with at my job, I found it hard to manage my employees at times as I used to be their co-worker. In my opinion, it is crucial to stay humble after a promotion and treat employees with the same respect and care as I did before
