Discussion - How (Un)ethical Are You? Banaji, M. R., Bazerman, M. H. \& Chugh, D. (2003). How (Un)Ethical Are You? Harvard Business Review, 81(12), 56-64. With this article, authors Banaji, Bazerman, and Chugh connect the dots between decision making, cognitive biases, and ethics. They suggest that, despite our best intentions, our unconscious biases interfere with good decision making. Their prescription is to be vigilant and to draw on our conscious mind, our level two thinking, and they offer three suggestions: collect data, shape the environment, and broaden our decision-making process.
