Here is the objectives

  1. Introduction/thesis: introductory paragraph with a guiding sentence thatlets your reader know what your paper will cover and why.
  2. Facts:the organization, any important events, and the related ethical issues. What has happened, and what is happening now? Has the organization violated its own professional code of ethics
  3. Personal Ethical Philosophy: You're taking a break from the organization and its ethical issues. Here, you'll explain your own personal system of ethics, both what it was before you took this class and how it hasdeveloped via our course concepts and your own research.
  4. Analysis:system of ethics to analyze the organization and its ethical issues. Make sure always to relate your statements about the organization and its ethical issues back to your own standards of behavior as outlined in number 3, above.
  5. Resolution and/or Conclusion:If you see a possible resolution of this organization's ethical issues, present it clearly. Again, relate it back to your own standards of behavior as outlined in number 3, above. If there is no resolution that you can see, that's perfectly fine. You can use a more standard conclusion that restates and adds value. Credit whomever of your case study classmates assisted you in investigating this example.

Here is the work I started I wanted to add utilitarianism to this work:

Digital culture is re-shaping human behavior. Jaron Lanier is a scientist, actor, musician, and writer. The TED Talk is about the vision of Digital culture when the internet is introduced to the world, when World wide web began and how it has re-shaped the World. Digital culture is a concept which describes how technology and the internet are shaping the way we interact. Companies like Google and Facebook made the foundation of digital culture. These companies are investing in behavioral modification software which will lead to manipulating our thought process. Internet is a free powerful space let us use it wisely. " We cannot have a society, where two people wish to communicate the only way that can happen is if it's financed by a third person who wishes to manipulate them" (Jaron Lanier). Jason is a genius because he has a good understanding of digital culture and how his experiences spoke about his true experiences, He is a true treasure to our humanity.

Digital culture is digital technologies shaping our culture. Jaron Lanier mentioned that as "We have a challenge. culture and technology that is so beautiful, so meaningful, so deep, so endlessly creative, so filled with infinite potential draws us away from committing a mass suicide" (Jaron Lanier). We are all hooked to the internet with all the available free resources. These resources need money to maintain their site or blog. Investors started advertising so they could earn some money to maintain their source.

Jason explained how we all use expensive phones, We also expect them to perform better for free. We needed better search engines for free cause they are faster and better. We wanted and use social media for free. I would never pay for something like that. We all don't. Entrepreneur's needed money and come up with ideas to make money. Behavior modification soft wears. This software understands what we like and who we are. When we search for something, we find related commercials everywhere. I am pretty sure a lot of people agree with me. It is annoying and we still fall for it. "I fall for it. Lol.." I am not alone though. Entrepreneurs make money out of this but that is not mentioned anywhere. To change that we must change our behavior. The author used Ethos, Pathos, and logos. He showed professionalism and made the audience trust him. He shared emotional stories where he used a different source for us to go check his previous TED Talk and inspiring quotes as well as logic. The Internet is scary. It is scary how we are manipulated by it. I have deleted FB and I still have a lot of work to do!
