Hi, I need a Java algorithim or a method that makes the computer eliminate and guess according to the feedback.

for example, I input any 6 digit number possible lets say 114422. The computer guess is 187943. The feedback is 1,1 ( "1" direct hit( correct digit in the correct place) ,"1" indirect hit( correct digit in the wrong place). The computer then eliminates all the 6 digit numbers that are not possible to guess the correct answer (114422) according to the feedback until the feedback is 6,0 and the game is over.
