Hello, my name is Elizabeth Mary Jo Pineda, but you can call me EMJO. I am from Manila, Philippines. I came here with my husband and daughter, straight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where I worked as an Administrative Assistant in a Government Hospital for 16 years. I usually just spend my spare time with my family, like during weekends, I go with my husband to his basketball games, sometimes we go to the mall, parks, and sometimes just hang out with friends from our Church Community.

For my theme and colour, based on the Keirsey Test, I have the temperament of a Guardian (color yellow), and looking at the kinds of Guardians, I relate more to being a Guardian Provider. This I attribute perhaps to my being a mom and how I tend to take care of my familys needs first before anything else. I like to get involved and ensure that the work gets done. In my experience, I am usually the planner, the itinerary-maker, and the researcher. I guess having a Guardian Provider temperament in the Supply Chain Industry will help me in such a way that I have been known to be dependable, loyal and trustworthy. Those are most of the comments I get from my previous employers.

I hope to learn more about future careers in Supply Chainthe challenges, what skills I need to possess, the corporate social responsibility of the industry, especially for women. I have always had the preconception that Supply Chain are mainly for men and I would like to know more about how women fare in this industry.
