On 21.5.2010 Jennifer came to you and said: "l am now 19 years old and live in Kuala Lumpur. On 3.6.2009, my mother and I left our home to go for shopping in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. We decided to take the LRT at the University Station. Thus, we had to cross the road to go to the Putra LRT bus stop opposite of our house. We then came to a traffic light. When the traffic light for the pedestrian tumed green, we started to cross the road. While crossing the road, suddenly a car owned by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), driven by Ahmad, a JKR driver knocked me down. My mother escaped injury. On the day of the accident, it appeared that I had minor injuries. Ahmad sent me to the nearest clinic for an outpatient treatment. While waiting for the medicine, Ahmad told me that he is attached to the JKR headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Ahmad paid for the medical bills personally. However, in 2010, I developed a permanent disability of my right hand. The claim will certainly be more than RM300,OOO. According to the report from the doctor who treated me, the injuries were due to the accident that occurred on 3.6.2009" Based on the facts given above, answer the following questions. a. b.
