Due:You will have to take this Midterm Exam any time up until 11:59 p.m. on the last day of Week 7. See the Instructional Plan for exact due dates. Value: 25% of the final grade. Passing Grade: 60% Description This Midterm Exam will assess your knowledge and understanding of the key concepts introduced in weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Rationale This Midterm Exam will evaluate the following course learning outcomes: CLO 1 Assess the impact of the growth of digital industries on the Management of Information Technology. CLO 2 Analyze IT organizational culture in order to understand how to support or change it. CLO 4 Create a career management plan. CLO 5 Explain current strategies for Talent Management and Recruitment CLO 7 Create plans for an organizational structure that best fits your business. Before Taking your Midterm Exam Before you start the exam, ensure you: Have a Stable Internet Connection: Use a stable, preferably wired (as opposed to wireless), high-speed Internet connection. Start on Time: Exam must be started with enough time to complete prior to the end date and time as indicated in the Instructional Plan. Exams have an Enforced Time Limit which prevent students from making further changes after the date and time specified. Your answers will not be saved if you attempt to submit past this end date and time and will not be marked. Use an Appropriate Device: To navigate through the exam without any issues, use an approved device as outlined inthe BYOD requirements for the Business - Supply Chain Management - Global program. Directions The time limit for this Midterm Exam is three (3) hours. Scenario A schoolmate of yours is graduating and starting a new job as a web developer and his new employer is asking for him to put together a career plan. His new Employer has also told him that his new company has a flat organizational structure. Your schoolmate did not take this course, so you are going to help him take with them information you have learned from this course Deliverables /Problem: First you will explain to your schoolmate in your own words and in a few concise sentences what a flat organizational structure is. Then using the career plan for yourself that you created in the second assignment of our course, edit that plan to become the career plan for your friend, the web developer, taking into is consideration any effect a flat organizational structure will have on the plan as well. Put both your answer and the career plan into a word document or equivalent complete with a cover page and citations. Summit it to the Mid term Exam drop box on eConestoga under Assignments that has been provided for that purpose. Where description is required, your answers must be well explained and in your own words. You will be tested on both the content and the quality of your answers.
