Week 7 Assignment: Motivation Length: 300-400 words, or at least one page in a word.doc or docx, or pdf Learning objectives: Critique various resources with strategies for motivating employees. Develop some low-cost or no-cost ideas for motivating employees. 1. There are very cost-effective to no-cost methodsin which managers/supervisors can motivate and reward employees. Some ideas include: No-Cost Ideas Thank or congratulate the employee in person or in writing; Celebrate the successes of the work unit with a potluck lunch. Low-Cost Ideas Create bulletin board space to applaud employees publicly; Develop a departmental awards program. 1.
