Lesson 6 Chapter 7 Senior management at Hoopla Candies have numerous problems with creating new candies. There are four stages of the creative process: Preparation, Incubation, Insight, and verification.

Question 1) Explain to Hooplas managers how incubation can increase creative activity and explain what employees need to do in order to improve the incubation process.

Lesson 7 Chapter 8 Another approach to problem solving that Hoopla Candies wants to take is making use of self-directed teams.

Question 2) Describe the two distinctive features of self-directed teams and how using self-directed teams may increase effective creation of new candy products.

Lesson 8 Chapter 9 Hoopla Candies has identified that senior managers have many employees and clients vying for their attention. In particular, these people expect senior managers to review a considerable amount of information to make decisions for them. It isn't possible to spend much time with any individuals, nor is it possible to delegate any of these decisions to other people.
