A new dentist office building is out for bid. Your company wants you to get started on the

estimation. The building's exterior dimensions are given below. The foundation system consists

of a $2-ft$ by $1-ft$ tall footer, a $2-ft$ tall by $8-$in wide foundation wall, plus piers that provide support

to the interior of the structure. Each pier has a $2-ft$ by $2-ft$ by $1-ft$ thick concrete pad $($footer$)$

with an $8-$in by $8-$in by $2-ft$ column that supports the building. You can assume the building pad

is level and the foundation will extend $6-$in above the ground surface. The concrete will be an

Earth Form job.

Determine the mass excavation volume, the displacement created by the foundation system, the

stockpile volume, the in$-$place backfill volume, the excess volume, and the concrete volume for

this build $($yes$,$ I want the exterior and interior foundation included in the calculations$).$ All

volumes are to be given in cubic yards. The soil swell is $25\%$ and the soil shrink is $15\%.$
