Question: Horatio Smith is a mean man. He dislikes it when people come into his yard and make noise. One Sunday, as Horatio is making coffee

Horatio Smith is a mean man. He dislikes it when people come into his yard and make noise. One Sunday, as Horatio is making coffee in his kitchen, he notices the next door neighbour's two kids playing hide-and-go-seek in his back yard. This is the third time this month that these kids have jumped the fence and come into his yard. Annoyed, Horatio runs outside and starts yelling at the kids. The kids get scared and jump over the fence into their own yard. Horatio also jumps over the fence to run after them. After Horatio jumps the fence, he runs through the long grass and bushes on the neighbour's property (the neighbours have not mowed their lawn or cut their bushes in years, and they have kept messy garbage and junk on their property instead). Horatio cannot see the ground through the unkempt grass and bushes, so he does not notice all of the broken glass, pieces of wood with rusty nails sticking out, and potholes across the neighbour's yard amongst the grass and bushes. As Horatio pursues the kids, he steps on several rusty nails and broken glass, and his foot falls into a deep pothole. Horatio's feet are badly injured and he has broken his leg from the pothole. Nonetheless, he pursues the two kids and catches them. He takes the kids back to his house, ties them up with masking tape to his kitchen chairs and calls the police to report the kids for playing in his yard. When the police arrive, they call the kids' parents. When the parents come over, they are very angry at Horatio and threaten to sue him. What torts can the kids use to sue Horatio? What torts can Horatio use to sue the neighbours? What is the likelihood of success of Horatio or the kids? Explain the torts, legal tests, and likelihood of success of the kids and Horatio
