How do I determine the specific reliability and validity coefficients and then present them in a paper; example from my paper:

The participant's self-reported answer to the question posed on overall life satisfaction is the primary outcome. "If you were to consider your life, in general, these days, how happy or unhappy would you say you are, on the whole?" Responses range from 1 = very happy to 8= don't know. The independent variable at the individual level is marital status. Responses range from 1 = Married to 5= Never married. In this study the analysis and strategy for the analysis included observing the relationship between marital status and rates of depression with marital status ultimately determined to have an effect or correlation with depression. This data was collected through a GSS data explorer. Data was additionally collected from participants via questionnaires which included information such as: marital status and depression. Since this study indicated the presence of two variables which could be seen at multiple levels, the chi-square test was conducted to determine the relationship between marital status and depression.
