Therefore, George can break the contract with Glenda and provide the contract to Jesse. The only support Glenda would have been if the contract which, her and George did come to an agreement on would be that of contractual law. However, the statute of frauds dismisses this since the agreement is worth more than $500.00 and not in written form. Glenda does not have any remedies if he does not sell it to her. George can ultimately decide not to sell it to either person since the statue of frauds enforces that the contract must be written and signed. -George
