Based on the skills approach, I consider Dr. Woods's leadership with the Elder Care Project Team to possess exceptional problem-solving skills and extensive knowledge; also, he is known as the foremost scholar in health education research. His project could be successful because Dr. Woods has a team willing to deliver the work promised. If they combine the doctor's experience/knowledge with the effort of his team, then the project can be successful. Dr. Wood has the skills necessary to be an effective leader in this research. Doctor Wood has the skills needed to be an effective leader of the Elder Care Project Team; he is one of the top researchers and has experience and knowledge. He needs to work with his team and be able to motivate them and delegate the work and responsibilities; that way, he will not feel responsible or overwhelmed by having to do most of the work.
