How do we assign participants to groups?

C. Mixed assignment to groups - Winter, Carlucci, Schwartz-I've talked before about a study I did where I altered the order of homicide instructions I gave to jurors. Usually, the courts present charges in a "severe to less severe" order

1^st Degree Murder, 2^nd Degree, Manslaughter-I wondered whether the order of charges impacted jurors

That is, are jurors more likely to find guilt if they read a 1^st degree murder charge first, followed by 2^nd degree, and then manslaughter compared to those who saw the manslaughter charge first?
