Question:
You come to work Monday morning and are all excited about starting the week. You have made a list of the things you want to accomplish this week. When you get in you get a cup of coffee and go to your desk. You are not there more than 2 minutes when your boss calls you and says can you come into their office. You grab a pad because you know they will have a million things for you to do and you won't remember them all. You go in ready to listen.
Your boss says whatever you had planned for the week scrap it, we have to work on a report detailing year over year sales of cashmere sweaters by style, color and design. The President of the division has told your boss that the current line of cashmere sweaters will be determined based on the sales numbers in your report. You are feeling frustrated because you thought this was already taken care of and now you won't be able to do any of the things you really wanted and liked to do.
Your work style is to plan things out and do them in an orderly fashion. Your boss is very last minute and sometimes it appears -- disorganized.
