Question: How many different samples of size n = 2 can be extracted from a population N, where: a) N = 6 b) N = 25
How many different samples of size n = 2 can be extracted from a population N, where:
a) N = 6
b) N = 25
I thought that I needed to use a combination formula, but another doc that I've found shows the procedure like:
a) (6-2)/(6-1)=0.8
b) (25-2)/(25-1)=0.9583
Are these answers right? Or I should use the combination formula? Why? Thanks btw, here's the formula that I've used first:
