My second post will be focused on the positive and negative effects of globalization and whether or not we can tell if its longevity will benefit us or not. It's very easy to point out the positive effects globalization has had on our society, such as the decrease in manufacturing, access to new markets, capital flows, the spread of knowledge and technology, etc. And the big one is the interconnectivity between many regions globally. Without globalization, our system would be very closed off from the world as a whole. However, within the limelight, there are adverse consequences that come with it as, ranging from environmental damage, new paths for the spread of disease, and exploitation of third-world countries by prohibiting their development. In the grand scheme of things, it is really hard to say whether or not these negative outcomes can be reversed simply because globalization is occurring so rapidly. To the point where we are currently living through the midway point of where all these outcomes are taking place. Of course, everything comes down to data and how as a system can come to certain conclusions about these current terms we are dealing with in the midst of globalization
