How to stay sane in a busy world? How do you stay sane in this busy world? How do you relax and recharge yourself? Is there such a thing as "work-life balance", does that even exist, can it be achieved, or is that all "BS"? In business it's often just about productivity and efficiency and everyone at work and in their personal life is increasingly asked to do more with less. While there can be positive stress, physicians around the world are alarmed by the level of stress and the health impact and consequences. Burnout is on the rise on a global level.
On top of personal things in life and at work that can one make feel overwhelmed, we also just had 2+ years of pandemic, the global climate crisis, the invasion of Ukraine and all the other mayhem in the world that just does barely ever seem to stop. This week, without turning this into a medical or philosophy class, think about a couple of things that you either do or could do to enhance your well-being and give yourself an opportunity to recharge.
