how would I write code that predicts total$\_$fare from the rest of the columns

trip$\_$id: id string for taxi trip

total$\_$fare: total fare of the trip

trip$\_$duration: the time duration of the trip

num$\_$of$\_$passengers: the number of passengers

surge$\_$applied: additional surcharge

It is evaluated based on RMSE and for each 'trip$\_$id$\text{'}$ in the test set, it must predict a number for the 'total$\_$fare' column.

It should be in the following format:

trip$\_$id$,$total$\_$fare

all of the tutorials or advice I find has to use longitutde and latitudes to work and I dont even really know where to begin and im struggling a lot. Any advice or help you can offer is much appreciated!
