First, do unto of AS y would ha_ve done strategy is meant o be one of the many intuitive guiding principles in engaging with others, m r staff, especially we all want to be treated well at work or at home. As for the saying, if you want to be respected, you alsc eed to show respect as this is eamed. Also treating someone with respect means showing regard for other abilities and worth, valuing feeling and views even if you do not necessarily agree and accepting each other on an equal basis. | believe ng respect for each other, especially managers, will lead to a better work environment. And the second one is acknowledging the importance of work-life _baiance and employee well-being helps reduce stress levels. Unfortunately, stress is natural with the demands of work and life, but when it becomes chronic, this can lead to physical and mental health problems. | used to be a workaholic, it felt like | needed to, | even thought about work at home, and it affected me mentally and physically. So, | realized to reduce stress levels, it is important to establish a clear boundary between work and personal life. This means, taking breaks, prioritizing self-care, using your personal time off even just to take a day to relax and rest. With these two strategies, not only it would improve motivation, but also improved productivity and be better for physical and mental health. When it comes to rewards at a workplace, intrinsic reward is more important. When someone is intrinsically motivated, they engage more in an activity because they enjoy and get personal satisfaction from it, this drives each person from within. Having intrinsic motivation can increase engagement, performance and overall happiness making work more meaningful. Gaining an external reward is like a bonus for your hard work. Though it would be nice to have external incentives to motivate employees more and extrinsic rewards to show appreciation to employee's hard work, because like mentioned in the book, there are employees who are motivated and wants to do a good job, while others may not share the same drive where they merely putting in time and are motivated by other things. ' And lastly, regarding work, they use extrinsic motivation, which | do not think works but they do. They also use rewarding the desired behavior such as a \"wow\" card. If a patient appreciates or say something about the staff who helped him/her, we get a wow card, and once you collect ten wow cards, you get $25 00 gift card. They also use rewarding employees in ways that enhance performance and motivate them and tailor those rewards, every month we get what they call appreciation staff lunch from management to thank us for the challenging work
