how would you reply to this classmate?
When looking at the different data collection methods that I would be using for the project, there are a few different pieces that come to mind. The first data collection that I would use is records. The reason that I would use this is because of the fact that it would allow me to use official documents to show the changes and or issues that we need to address throughout the program. These records are items that are used for legal reasons as well as any state audit that the company could have. Therefor I believe that this would be an interictal art of the collection of data that I will be using. The second data collection method that I would use is observation. Within the community and at any site that we have the program going. The reasons that I would use this is to be able to see first-hand the way that things are working, and even the way that others are feeling when working with the professionals that are working for the company. They would allow me to have a naturalistic observation of many different aspects of the program. The third data collection method that I would use is focus groups. The reason that I would want to use this is because I could get real-life real-time feedback from the individuals that we are working with. Survey can get lost or just forgotten about and therefore are less likely to get information from. By having focus groups, you are able to discuss different aspects of what is going on, and it even allows for us to ask follow up questions to better understand the feelings and thoughts of a person that we would otherwise not get from a survey.
